I declare that I am a self-certified sophisticated investor for the purposes of the restriction on the promotion of speculative illiquid securities. I acknowledge that:

1. I am permitted to receive promotional communications from individuals or firms authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding investment activities in speculative illiquid securities.

2. The investments promoted may carry a significant risk, including the potential loss of the entire amount invested.

Self-Certification Criteria

I qualify as a self-certified sophisticated investor because at least one of the following applies:

a) I am a member of a network or syndicate of business angels and have been so for at least six months prior to the date below.

b) I have made more than one investment in an unlisted company within the last two years prior to the date below.

c) I have worked in a professional capacity within the private equity sector or in providing finance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within the last two years prior to the date below.

d) I am currently, or have been within the past two years, a director of a company with an annual turnover of at least £1 million.

Acknowledgement

I understand that investing in speculative illiquid securities may expose me to a substantial risk of losing all the capital or assets invested.
 

I am aware that I have the option to seek advice from a professional who specialises in advising on speculative illiquid securities before proceeding.
